The Italian Golden Visa, also known as the Italian Investment Visa, enables non-EU investors to obtain a long-term Italian visa quickly.
This visa also allows them to bring their spouse, minor children and dependent parents aged 65 or over, thereby providing non-EU investors with a fast track to the EU.

- You may bring your family with you and enter the Schengen Area visa-free, without the need to reside in Italy.
- Travel visa-free within the Schengen Area; within any 180-day period, you may visit all 29 Schengen countries visa-free for a maximum stay of 90 days.
- The initial investor visa is valid for two years and can be renewed for a further three years. After five years, and provided the conditions are met, you may apply for permanent residence. Citizenship may be applied for after ten years.
- Italy offers a special flat-rate tax scheme whereby new tax residents pay a fixed annual tax of €300,000 on their overseas income. This option provides holders of the Italian Golden Visa with a simple and cost-effective way to manage their global income.

Eligibility Requirements
- Investors must be at least 18 years of age
- Applicants must have a clean criminal record
- Proof of lawful source of investment funds is required
- Purchase of health insurance
- Marriage certificate (if applicable)
- Letter of intent
- The investment or donation must be completed within three months of entering Italy
- Investors must maintain the investment for at least five years to retain their residence permit
